WHAT IS ALPINE GARDEN?

Alpine Garden offers overnight lodging and resort amenities in rustic cabins, pods, and treehouses. Located in The Bartlett Village of New Hampshire, we sit alongside The White Mountain National Forest. Alpine Garden brings boutique-style amenities like a heated in-ground pool and onsite winery, with a design that speaks to NH's identity.

what can we burn in the fire pit?

Each site comes with an outdoor fire pit. Wood must be purchased either at Alpine Garden or locally to the area to protect our forests from invasive species. We ask that the last log on the fire goes out before 10:00 PM to keep our guests and landscape safe. Guests often bring their own grill tops and cast iron pans to cook over the open fire, we do offer some for borrow on a first come first serve basis. Please note we follow all state fire advisories and reserve the right to have guests put their fire out if red flag fire warnings are in effect.

Do you offer  housekeeping?

As we continue to build our village, we do not offer daily housekeeping.
Each camper, cabin, pod, and treehouse comes with linens, robes, and towels. We do recommend a beach towel for the heated pool and the local swimming holes.

WHAT DO WE BRING?

We recommend hiking clothes.  We are abutting The White Mountain National Forest with thousands of miles of hiking trails local to us.  With the ability to walk from your site directly to hiking trails. Hiking boots, socks, sunglasses, sweatshirts, jackets, bug spray, and sunscreen are recommended.  We also highly recommend hiking maps, regardless of hiking experience because cell service is not consistent in the area (maps and trail guides sold in the office).  Camping chairs! We do provide a picnic table, however it is nice to have a chair around the fireplace.

We also recommend bringing  stocked coolers, our cabins and pods have mini refrigerators with freezers with a  limited capacity. Ingredients for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner if you plan on cooking on the campfire during your stay.  Grilling supplies, as cabins do have freestanding charcoal grills. Cooking oil and spices, we provide salt and pepper. We will be selling various supplies to supplement forgotten items in our store. For those who don't want to cook see our dining page for some wonderful places to eat in the area.

We provide a conditioning shampoo & body wash, anything beyond that would be recommended.

IS THERE late check out available?

We’re happy to see if your site is available if you arrive early; however, we can’t guarantee an early check-in. Please call during office hours to see if they are able to accommodate a late check-out.
Phone inquiry hours:

do you have wifi?

We do offer complimentary Wifi to our guests.

Guests will receive the password in the welcome letter inside their cabins.

IS THERE FREE PARKING AVAILABLE?

Each site has one parking space. We have overflow parking for additional vehicles.  Once settled, we encourage exploring the property by foot to maintain a peaceful camping experience.

IS THERE A GENERAL STORE?

Our store and office has snacks, candy, s'mores, firewood, charcoal, firestarters, and ice. Cabins, Pods, and Treehouses are equipped with utensils, linens (upon request), and mini-refrigerators. Wood is also available for purchase. There is a small store and deli 100 feet past our entrance called "Bart's Deli."  Bart's is unaffiliated with Alpine Garden, but we are lucky enough to have them as neighbors!

What amenities are onsite?

The heated pool is open from May through October. Alpine Garden Winery is in full swing open year-round open Thursday through Sunday from Noon- 5 PM EST. We have a 24/7 accessible bath house with accessible showers. There is also a small swing set located next to the brook. We are fortunate enough to have 5,000+ miles of hiking trails through the White Mountain National Forest in our backyard.

Can we bring friends?

Each site is based on two adults.  There is a $25 dollar charge for each additional adult.  We aim to have a peaceful and quiet environment.  Please also keep in mind that many of the cabins are designed for two. Black Bear & the treehouse accommodate families, with more family units to come as we expand each year!
